Part two of an accidental set?
Now, explaining to do on this one… General consensus of Dualscar thinking of Eridan is basically “DESCENDANT I AM DISAPPOINT.” Which is hilarious to think on, really. All the stern, angry faces. And hey, Eridan is sorta the fandom punching bag and butt of jokes, so that’s fine.
But honestly? Eridan kept up his ancestor’s task of feeding Feferi’s Lusus- he kept up his ideals, rose to be even more powerful than he was, defeated his rival and took out the one who scorned him. Not all of those are good, but from Dualscar’s perspective, his Descendent upheld his legacy. Yes, he didn’t have filled quadrants, but as far as we can tell, Dualscar never did, either. If there was anyone who would understand Eridan, it’d be his own Ancestor. I think he’d be proud of how the little guy turned out, flawed or not.
…Or maybe I just wanted to vicariously give Eridan a crushing hug.
